Concrete Couch is a 20+ year old nonprofit that has been working with kids and community groups to create and install many of Colorado’s favorite public art sculptures and murals with the mission of building community, creating places, and sharing skills in order to facilitate positive human connection with each other and the physical world around us.

 

Concrete Couch is in the running to win funding from the Levitt Foundation to host 30 free daytime family Concerts at the almost 8 acre open space park and performance venue, Concrete Coyote Community Park, located at 1100 S. Royer St. (near Downtown off S Royer St between Fountain Blvd and Las Vegas St).

 

If selected, Concrete Couch will receive funding to produce 10 daytime family concerts every year for 3 years at Concrete Coyote Community Park, the amazing 8 acre open space park and performance venue it owns in an area just SE of Downtown Colorado Springs, that could really benefit from this type of event
