Concrete Couch invites the community to attend the “Focus on the Creek” Community Celebration & Mural Unveiling on Saturday, May 9, at Concrete Coyote Community Park.
The event will feature the unveiling of a large-scale, community-created mural installed under the historic Stone Train Bridge along the Shooks Run Trail. The mural reflects contributions from local artists, youth groups, and community organizations, highlighting themes of local ecology, history, and community identity.
The Shooks Run Trail, a nearly four-mile north–south corridor connecting neighborhoods and trails across Colorado Springs, serves as an important space for recreation and community connection. The project site at Concrete Coyote marks the southern end of the trail and is part of the broader Legacy Loop, a growing network of trails that enhance access, safety, and community engagement throughout the city.
