Financial needs will be determined on a project by project basis. The host organization, and Concrete Couch’s director and board members will collaboratively raise funds primarily through private foundations, and through local, state and federal grants, donations from individuals, and various creatively-inspired fundraisers.
Cash needs for an individual public art project are widely variable, but generally range from $1000 to $10,000. Cash needs are generally 30-50% of the total project budget.
Our programs also rely heavily on community support, through individual and business in-kind contributions, including: volunteers sharing their skills, contributions of materials, administration services, tool rental, engineering services, meeting space rental, snacks, documentation services, etc. This helps extend the budget of a program, and also helps integrate the community in each project.
