WOOD and TOOLS:
-Lumber: we accept most dimensional lumber and hardwood
-Plywood, in any size and thickness bigger than 2' square.
(for all wood: If there are nails and other stuff on the wood, please either clean it, OR bring it by during FAB LAB and we will help you clean it for storage and use).
-Power drills, hammers, pliers, drill bits and drivers, etc. are always welcome.
PAINT:
-We use tempera, acrylic, latex, and oil-based paints, BUT we generally only need bright colors and black and pure white.
-Oil-based products like Linseed oil, paint thinner and polyurethane are also usually accepted.
CERAMIC and MOSAIC MATERIALS and TOOLS:
-Good quality “thin-set” type mortar
-All-weather, bright colored ceramic tiles. (Low-fire, softer tiles are not useful to us. How to tell? Touch your tongue to an exposed edge of tile…if your tongue sticks a bit, the tile is absorbing water and is not all-weather.) Tile thickness of between 3/16” and ¼”.
- “Margin trowels” (square end), “diamond” trowels, tile nippers, and painter’s “palette knives” are always needed,
- Large sponges
OTHER STUFF WE USE AND NEED:
-yogurt tubs (any size)
-Nails, screws, bolts
-Caulk, both silicone and acrylic
-Wire of all thicknesses

**Have other stuff?** Please call or email us and we will see if we can find a home for it!
